Instructions

Preheat oven to 180 °C (350 °F).

Lightly grease a baking dish.

Brown 400 g ground beef in a skillet; drain fat.

Stir in 1 cup cooked rice and 1 cup tomato sauce; season to taste.

Layer half the meat-rice mix, then sliced zucchini, then the rest of the mix in the dish.

Top with 1–1½ cups shredded cheese.

Cover with foil and bake 20 min, uncover and bake 10–15 min more.

Let rest 5 min, garnish, and serve.
